Cánh Diều Việt Nam (CDV) is a Vietnamese-led social enterprise dedicated to empowering vulnerable children and youth through inclusive, community-driven, and culturally grounded solutions.
CDV focuses on sustainable development in areas of inclusive education, mental health, youth entrepreneurship, digital skills, and climate resilience initiatives – particularly in ethnic minority communities and emerging urban contexts.
The founding team brings together over 30 years of cumulative experience in designing, implementing, and scaling impactful programs in child protection, youth mental health, education, and community resilience—backed by deep relationships across schools, youth unions, local authorities, and grassroots networks. Complementing this foundation is a new generation of young, dynamic staff who are deeply connected to the realities and aspirations of today’s youth. This intergenerational team reflects CDV’s values of creation compassion, and collaboration—working together to design, implement, and scale impactful programs that respond to Vietnam’s evolving social landscape.
While proudly rooted in local leadership and expertise, CDV also inherits and adapts proven development methodologies from international best practices—ensuring the community-driven, scalable, and sustainable approaches that engage key influencers in the lives of vulnerable children and youth to create a lasting, inclusive support network.
